The developers of a new five start resort on Hawar Island, located in the Persian Gulf, were looking for an iconic adventure attraction for kids at the resort. Chimp & Zee teamed up with Bear Grylls and submitted a unique proposal for an adventure park right alongside the beach.
The concept is a cross between a treasure hunt, a survival course and a soft outdoor adventure experience that includes climbing elements, elevated towers, hanging bridges, nets, puzzle boards and a zipline. Entrants to the adventure park are issued with a token card indicating a series of collectible token stamps designed around survival themes (compass, rope, matches, etc). By navigating and climbing around the adventure park, sliding down the zipline and solving the puzzle board, participants need to search for the respective token posts, emboss their cards and continue exploring the park to find the rest.
This interactive adventure park offers several different opportunities for group challenges, and a range of different token cards and the positioning of token posts allows for easy changes to the challenges from day to day.
The ART Farm adventure tower and zipline provides a multi activity option for recreational urban settings.
This product centres around a 10m high adventure tower with an internal steel tread staircase. A 100m zipline launches from the top of the tower and ends on a 4m high landing platform with concrete anchor block. The elevated landing tower allows the zipline activity to pass overhead any pedestrians, providing a safer operation and allow any existing foot traffic or activities to continue.
The ART Farm adventure tower also has a climbing wall and abseil wall along one edge, allowing for multi-purpose use, the sale of three separate products, and cross skilling of instructor staff.
Chimp and Zee designed and built the linear rope course aimed at creating a number of high rope challenges to develop both individual and team building skills for the newly established Children’s Centre founded by Prince Harry aimed at supporting vulnerable children in Lesotho.
Speed Energy Drink event in Luanda, Angola. Chimp and Zee designed and erected the 170m temporary zip line for the 3-day event. This was a challenging project in the city, starting from the top of a building over the main highway onto the beach front.
The new Chicken Run Adventure Course located in Kloof, KwaZulu-Natal is a 21-element low ropes obstacle course and is designed to be challenging and fun for children from 5 years and older.

A first for Zimbabwe, Chimp & Zee installed a 175m zipline that launched from the rooftop and travelled over the hotel grounds to a 9m high landing tower.
Two sides of the landing tower were cladded with wooden struts and climbing wall grips and belay points were added to each side to create a second adventure activity for hotel guests.
Chimp & zee was asked to design and build a unique zipline experience at the Big Valley Game Lodge in Botswana. This resulted in a 280m zipline from the main lodge that would land on an island in the middle of the dam, right alongside the sundowner bar!
